Transylvania DoppelBock – Amber Delight

Unique due to its geographical provenience, Transylvania Doppelbock beer is obtained through the classical procedure of two phase fermentation in horizontal tanks for 50 days, just as the Bavarian friars themselves would have brewed it in the 17th Century, when this beer recipe first became popular. The result is an amber Doppelbock that boasts a velvet texture and bitter sweet notes of toast and fruit. Best enjoyed at 4 – 7°C.

A lager-style, bottom natural 30 days fermented beer with a bright, golden colored beer and a pleasant bitter aftertaste. A unique beer, in its taste and smell, Classic HAB is an exclusive tribute to the Transylvania region. DETAILED BEER DRINKING INSTRUCTIONS

Choose the right glass for the right beer
The glass shapes accentuate different smells and perceptions of our beer. For the perfect experience we recommend to let you inspired by similar wine glasses shape to serve our doppelbock and for lagers a glass having a similar shape to a goblet or tulip.
Pour the beer in at a 45° angle
Having head is very important to get to the true flavors of the beer. It'll also provide a stronger, more decadent aroma. When glass becomes half full, start leveling it out slowly, pouring straight into the glass.
Complement your meal
Pair Transylvania Dark with a smokey flavor, like with char-grilled foods, and for Transylvania Amber think appetizer plates, like grapes, cheeses, and bruschetta or red meat.
HAB can provide an herbal contract to fattier foods, like salmon, pizza, and fried foods.
Store properly in a cool, dark location
It’s important to store the beer in a cool area, away from light, heat and in a constant temperature. Our beers are best enjoyed when kept around 4-7°C.
